Precious Moments –

Do you know what I love about big cities? That even if you’ve been to a specific area ten or thirty or hundreds of times you can still find or see something new. It can be a small shop you never noticed before, a window with beautiful curtains, a crack in the path that reminds you of how precious life is, a small garden or flowers that pop up when spring comes. Those moments when you notice something new in a place you think you already know are precious.

You can compare it to the people around you. It’s like when someone you love show you a sweet side of them you never seen before. Or all those beautiful sides you get to see when you really start to get to know someone. It’s when you notice these new traits in places and people you can fall in love over and over again.

I’ve been to Ueno Park several times and I thought I had seen the most of it. Last Sunday when we were taking a stroll in the park we found so many ‘new’ beautiful spots I’ve never noticed before. One of the places is where we shot this look. I love buildings, places or landmarks that really breathes the culture of the country you’re in. It was a quite cold but sunny day and it was luckily no wind while we were shooting at this amazing place. I love how it came out, what do you guys think?

Don’t forget to live in the moment so you’re able to discover new traits of the people and places you love!

Love,
Elle

  1. OMG, this pictures are so beautiful. You have me missing Japan. I was only on holiday there for two weeks but fell in love. Tokyo has so many hidden gems. There seems to be a pagoda every few blocks. So jealous you live there full time and get to do shoots such as this. Have done any shoots out in Kyoto? That was my favorite area and I got my best shots there.

  2. I love traveling to big cities, but I don’t think I could ever live in one! Right now I’m studying at a small liberal arts college, and it is TINY. Maybe a little too tiny for me. But the big city of New York is just a few hours away and you’re right, there’s always something to see 🙂 Loving your sweater dress, belt, and ring! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
