When someone asks me for sightseeing tips or places to visit while in Tokyo I always try to mix it up with a lot of different places, restaurants and places to go. Tokyo consists of so many small cities that are completely different from one another and that’s one of the things I really love about this city!
Park Hyatt Tokyo, located in Shinjuku, is one of those places I always put on the list. New York Grill and New York bar located on the 52nd floor have the most incredible view, superb service and the food, Oh the food! I’ve been there for several brunches, dinners and drinks and I’ve never ever been disappointed. We always take our friends and family there and no one has ever said anything but good about it. It’s also a great place to go if you’re allergic or vegan/vegetarian, they always fix very yummy special dishes.
The New York bar has live jazz most nights (and during brunch) of the week and on Sundays they have a jazz event called Unplugged. If you’ve seen ‘’Lost in translation’’ you already know about this place and if not, see the movie 😉
If you’re going for the brunch (which I really recommend) don’t eat breakfast before! The brunch is an appetizer buffet, a main course and a dessert buffet. You will be so full of deliciousness that you might not feel the urge to eat anything else for the rest of that day 😉
