From Asakusa to Odaiba

I hope you had a nice weekend, I sure did! I have a lot of outfits, fashion from Tokyo, Tokyo To-Do lists and posts from Tokyo Fashion week coming up soon, stay tuned!

You probably remember I took a boat trip to Odaiba last weekend, where the last outfit post was shot. There are several boat tours to explore in Tokyo, the one I went for started in Asakusa. Asakusa is in the old part of Tokyo with an absolutely beautiful Buddhist temple, Sensoji (more about this in a later post). You can choose from several different tours, I had Odaiba in mind for the final destination. You can see on the map below (which I borrowed from here) some of the different tours you can choose from. I took the orange tour and if you don’t want to go all the way to Odaiba you can jump off at the beautiful Hama Rikyu garden or Hinode. From Hinode you can change boats to get over to Odaiba, Tokyo Big Sight or Palette Town. My trip took about 1 hour and 10 minutes and the ticket price was about 1600 yen (which is 15 USD or 105 SEK).

I absolutely recommend to take a boat trip to see this beautiful city from another view!

I hope you’re having a lovely Monday!
