We stayed in Ubud for two nights and right before heading to Seminyak we had lunch at Clear Cafe. The first impression I got was that it was very popular, the place had three floors and it was almost full when we got there. I love the happy and fun colors of the chic interior 🙂
The menu offers vegetarian, vegan, rawfood and fish dishes. There are dishes from different parts of the world such as Indian, Thai, Asian and Middle Eastern. We ordered two dishes and one side to share plus a smoothie and a bottle of kombucha. All our dishes were vegan (I asked if they could make the ones I wanted vegan but there are already vegan or vegetarian options on the menu too) and I must say that it was absolutely some of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever had! The flavours and the textures were so yummy! As a vegan you unfortunately get a lot of bland or same tasting dishes over and over again but these were an absolute symphony in my mouth ♥ This is what we ordered:
The Mesopotamia plate (falafel with saffron rice and more yumminess), the Snow Tofu served with mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries with homemade ketchup, Kombucha (fermented tea which is very good for metabolism and the immune system) chocolate mylk shake, infused lavender water and infused mint water. Everything was on point and we both got very, very full and satisfied (F liked it a lot too and he’s not vegan or vegetarian).
Clear Cafes vision is ”Eat the food you wish to be” and all the ingredients comes from different parts of Bali and the islands around Bali. If you’re in Ubud I absolutely recommend you to go to Clear Cafe.
