A couple of weekends ago we met some friends at the newly opened Blu Jam Cafe in Daikanyama. I hadn’t heard about the place before and my first thought was that it had a trendy American look to it and I liked the big open space (in Japan a lot of restaurants are divided into more private rooms). One of our friends is friends with the owner who told us that Blu Jam Cafe has several locations in California. Tokyo isn’t much for brunches and she missed the american brunches so Blu Jam Cafe serves brunch all day 🙂
We ordered some different dishes, I got the gluten-free Vegan Organic Tofu Rancheros (which you also can find on the menu in California) and it was sooo good! The perfect flavour and consistence marriage between the scrambled tofu, the avocado, the black beans and the crispy tortilla. Everyone was very happy with their food 🙂
